¶ H-Rules
H-Rules is the configuration setup for the publishing and social media pages which allows only select users to perform publishing in specific categories. Multiple Authors can be assigned to a Tag or a Category and granted permission to publish in Social Media Handles.
¶ Create H-Rules
There are three sections in creating the H-Rules and have the following Fields:
- Name - Title of the Rule
- Description - Small Description
- Tags - The Tags that needs to be limited or allowed access
- Select Author - You can allow all authors or add specific authors to apply the Rule
- Other Category - Categories for which the rule needs to be applied
- Select Handles - Configured Social Media handles that have permission for the selected Social Group
¶ Actions in H-Rules
The following actions can be performed in the H-Rules Page:
- Create H-Rules
- Edit Rule
- Delete Rule
- Disable Rule
The last 2 operations are available under the Quick Actions Menu
Confirm and select Yes to pop up menu to apply the actions after modifying the rules or creating new rules.
¶ Handles
This is the section where we configure and authorize social media handles to allow posting, commenting and sharing of content
¶ Configuring Twitter:
- By clicking on the + Twitter Button, you will be redirected to the Twitter Login Page. Fill in the User Name & Password to authorize the Hocalwire CMS API to access your account.
- Once accepted credentials are entered you will see a Confirmation Page to Authorize the Hocalwire Social Share API. Accept Authorize App.
- Your Twitter account will be added on to the Hocalwire CMS

Configuring Facebook
- By clicking on the + Facebook Button, you will be redirected to the Facebook Login Page. Fill in the User Name & Password to authorize the Hocalwire CMS API to access your account.
- Once accepted credentials are entered you will see a Confirmation Page to Authorize the Hocalwire Social Share API. Accept Authorize App.
- Your Facebook account will be added on to the Hocalwire CMS
¶ Configuring Koo
- Obtain a Koo API Token from the Koo App Team
- Enter the Name of you Koo Handle
- Enter you Koo Handle URL
- Add the Secret API Key obtained from the Koo App Team and click Save
¶ Configuring Telegram
- In the Telegram App make your Channel as Public
- Add the Hocalwire Bot as Admin to the Channel
- If you have your Own Bot, Add the Bot URL to the Dialog Box in Add Telegram Window
- Enter your Chat ID for the Telegram Channel in the Add Telegram Window and hit Save.
¶ Analytics
The Analytics page in the socials show the number of published posts and their respective metrics in a single window. This becomes helpful in tracking the Social MEdia performance of your posts in a single page.

- Filter by Date Range
- Filter by Time
- Filter by Status
- Filter by Social Media Handles
- Filter by Social Media Pages
- Export Analytics Data to Excel
